Holiday Open House

Dear Friends,

At Stockham Family Funeral Home, we know one of the most difficult times for families is celebrating the holidays without a loved one. Exchanging gifts, family gatherings, and festivities can be particularly hard for anyone who has experienced a recent loss.

To commemorate these losses, we have planned a Holiday Open House to give you, your family members, and your friends a time to acknowledge your loss and honor your loved one in a special way. This event is for any family that we have served in the past 12 months. The time of remembrance will take place on Thursday, December 7, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. This “come & go” event is open to all members of your family, including children, grandchildren, and friends.

At our Holiday Open House, we will have a memorial tree adorned with a special ornament for you to take home. This complimentary angel ornament is made from glass and bears the name of your loved one. It even comes with a gift box for safekeeping. We will also have music and some refreshments for you to enjoy. One complimentary ornament will be given per family. Additional ornaments are available at a cost of $25 each.

We invite you to stop by and pick up your ornament, view the memorial Christmas tree where all of the ornaments will be displayed, and pay your respects to those our community has lost this past year. In order for us to be able to plan and have your ornament ready, reservations are needed by Wednesday, November 29. We will need to know your name, the name of your loved one, and the number of people planning to attend. We are sending one invitation per family, so please inform your other family members. We send these personal invitations to all the families we have served in the past year following the death of their loved ones, in hopes that all who wish to participate can do so.

We know how difficult the holidays can be after the loss of a loved one, and we sincerely hope that you can join us to honor your loved one.
