Vernie Carlson

Vernie H. Carlson, 77, of Hutchinson and formerly of Windom, died Sunday, July 3, 2005, at Memorial Hospital in McPherson. He was a dairy farmer and had operated his own dairy operation for 41 years.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 8, at Andover Lutheran Church, rural Windom. Burial will be in the Andover Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at Stockham Family Funeral Home, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Survivors include: his wife, Florence of the home; two sons, Rex Carlson of McPherson and Max Carlson of Sterling, KS; a daughter, Jo Buck of Buhler, KS; three step-sons, Randy Yingling, Steven Yingling, and Robert Yingling, all of Hutchinson, KS; a step-daughter, Debra Slack of South Hutchinson, KS; eighteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
