Sylvia Huber

Sylvia E. (Neptune) Huber, 96, of Topeka and formerly of McPherson and Clyde, Kansas, died Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at Thornton Place Retirement Home in Topeka. She was a homemaker.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, April 10, at The Lora Lee Chapel of the First United Methodist Church, McPherson. Burial will be at 2:30 PM Monday at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Concordia, Kansas. Visitation, with the family present, is scheduled from 2:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday at Stockham Family Funeral Home.

Survivors include: her son, Lloyd Huber, of Topeka, Kansas; a sister, Ina Parrott of Hastings, NE; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milo W. Huber; a son, Floyd Huber; a brother, Floyd Neptune; and a granddaughter, Shirley Strella.
