Sarah Bell

October 25, 1984 — August 21, 2025

McPherson, KS

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sarah Bell, a beloved daughter, sister, and devoted mother of four beautiful children: Ellena (16), Olivia (13), Ellis (11), and Jessie (9).

Sarah suffered a ruptured aneurysm in her brain and, after courageously fighting for nearly a week, she ultimately succumbed to her injuries.

Sarah was a woman of faith whose life was grounded in her strong convictions and unwavering principles. She believed deeply in natural health and lived out her values with dedication and quiet strength. Sarah was faithful and reliable, the kind of person who could always be counted on. Her hard work and selflessness were evident in every aspect of her life, especially in the way she cared for her children, who were the center of her world and her greatest joy.

In addition to her devotion to family, Sarah worked at McPherson Psychological Associates as a receptionist while returning to school with ambitions of entering the counseling profession. Her compassion, empathy, and commitment to helping others were guiding lights in her personal and professional life, and she looked forward to using those gifts to make a difference for many.

She is survived by her loving parents, John and Gail Kennedy of McPherson, KS; her brother Jeremy Kennedy, his wife Heather, and their children Emersyn and Maklayne of Covington, LA; her four beloved children, Ellena, Olivia, Ellis, and Jessie; her sister-in-law Emma and Andy Linn of Bella Vista, AR; her in-laws, Joe and June Bell of Cottonwood Falls, KS; along with numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and extended family who dearly loved her.

Sarah’s life was defined by her love for her family, her devotion to her children, her deep faith, and her heart for others. Though our hearts are broken, her legacy of love, strength, and selflessness will live on in her children and in the many lives she touched.

A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the McPherson Free Methodist Church. Following the service, all are invited to stay for a time of fellowship.
