Ruth Sims

Ruth M. (Nickerson) Sims, 84, of McPherson and formerly of Excelsior Springs, MO, died Tuesday, December 20, 2005, at The Cedars, McPherson. She was a homemaker.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Friday, Dec. 23, at the First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at Stockham Family Funeral Home, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Survivors include: two sons, Kenneth Sims and wife, Glenda, of McPherson and David Sims and wife, Darla, of Excelsior Springs, MO; a sister, Laura Buzan of Sunrise Beach, MO; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
