Ruth A. Richards

Ruth “Ruthie” A. Richards, 60, of McPherson, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 12, 2016, at The Cedars, McPherson. She was a security guard at Hospira, Inc. and a bookkeeper.

Ruthie was born on July 13, 1956, in Denver, CO, the daughter of Cecil F. and Ruth May (Campbell) Richards. She graduated from Burr Oak High School in Burr Oak, KS and Bethany Nazarene College in Bethany, OK.

She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Hutchinson and the Christian Motorcyclists Association.

Survivors include: sisters, Nancy (Richard) Wakefield of McPherson, KS and Ellen (Marion) Gray of Oskaloosa, IA; brother, Irwin “Rip” (Candy) Richards of Elk Point, SD; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, & great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Patricia Howell.

The memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 16, 2016, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with Dr. Mark Glover officiating.
