Royal Yoder

Royal F. Yoder, 100, of McPherson, died Sunday, December 16, 2007, at Memorial Hospital. He was a retired farmer and had taught school in his younger years.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 21, at the McPherson Church of the Brethren. Inurnment of the cremains will be at the Monitor Cemetery (rural McPherson) at a later date. There will be no visitation.

Survivors include: three sons, Lowell Yoder of McPherson, Ellis Yoder of McPherson, and Engel Yoder of Marquette; a daughter, Karen Okeson of Seattle, WA; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and two step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene, a brother, Russell Yoder, and three sisters, Neva Cline, Loretta Augsburger, and Ester Yoder.
