Roberto Mata Velazquez

Roberto Mata Velazquez, 82, of Salina, KS, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 4, 2022, at his residence in Salina.  Before retirement, he worked in the bakery for Tony’s Pizza, Salina.

Roberto was born in Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico, the son of Maximiliano Velazquez and Blasa Mata.  He was united in marriage to Nancy “Ann” Scott.

He is survived by his wife, Ann, and sons, Jon Velasquez (Trish) and Steven Velasquez (Abby), all of Salina, KS, and many extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Culver Union Cemetery, Tescott, KS, with Chaplain Eric Anderson officiating.
