Robert "Bob" D. Holub

Robert “Bob” Dale Holub, 79, of McPherson, KS, peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, surrounded by family at his home.

He was born on January 18, 1947, in Marion, KS, the son of Albert George and Rose Beatrice (Dvorak) Holub. Bob attended Marion public schools and graduated from Centre High School in Lost Springs, KS. On March 26, 1977, Bob was united in marriage to Charlotte Ann Stout at the New Gottland Lutheran Church, McPherson.

Bob was a Maintenance Supervisor at CertainTeed in McPherson where he had worked for over 40 years.

He proudly served his country in the Army National Guard and was a member of the Starlite Bowling League.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of nearly 49 years, Charlotte of the home; three daughters, Tami Graszl (Joe) of Wichita, KS, Kathy Love (Jerry) of McPherson, KS, and Kimberly Kuhn (John) of Assaria, KS; siblings, Albert Holub (Linda) of Culbertson, NE and Kathleen Holub-Drury (Stephen) of Jonestown, TX; nine grandchildren, Zachary Love (Rachel), Brandon Love (Carrie), Robert Simpson (Haley), Breanna Love-Anderson (Domanic), Clayton Kuhn (Laura), Garrett Kuhn (Chaylen), Marisa Matt (Nick), Shayla Kuhn, and Rebecca Kuhn; eight great-grandchildren; and many extended relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Barbara Tajchman.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Monday, March 16, 2026, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. A Rosary will begin at 1:30 PM, Tuesday, March 17, at St. Joseph Catholic Church followed by a Funeral Rite at 2:00 PM, with Fr. Michael Kerschen officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow the service at McPherson Cemetery.
