Patricia “Patty” E. Anderson, 63, of McPherson, KS, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 11, 2020, with her family by her side at Ascension-Via Christi St. Francis RMC, Wichita. She retired from Pfizer where she was a light tester.

Patty was born on October 14, 1956, in Germany, the daughter of Harold and Eleanore (Crocker) Debenham. She graduated from Abilene High School (Abilene, KS) and Bethany College (Lindsborg, KS). On May 9, 1981, Patty was united in marriage to Jerry Wayne Anderson in Abilene. This union was blessed with two sons, Thomas “Tom” and Cody. Jerry preceded Patty in death on January 6, 2016, and Cody on January 11, 2018.

She attended the McPherson Free Methodist Church and was a former Cub Scout leader and PTA volunteer.

Survivors include: her son, Thomas Anderson and wife, Sara, of McPherson, KS; two brothers, Steven Debenham and wife, Shelly, of Abilene, KS and David Debenham of Topeka, KS; two sisters, Sharon Burt and husband, Tim, of Abilene, KS and Barbara Morton of Gove, KS; and many extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Eleanore Debenham, husband, Jerry, and son, Cody.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Friday, October 16, 2020, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 17, at Valley View Cemetery, Roxbury, with Pastor Nancy Modin officiating.
