Orton Talbott

Orton L. Talbott, 74, of McPherson and formerly of Marquette, passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at The Cedars Health Care Center in McPherson. He was a retired insurance agent and former sales representative for Coca-Cola Foods.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Saturday, September 4, 2010, at Elim Lutheran Church in Marquette. Burial will be in the Excelsior Cemetery near Marquette. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 PM Friday at Stockham Family Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

Survivors include: his wife, Delores "Dee" Talbott of the home; two sons, Rick Talbott and Ron Talbott, both of Wichita, KS; three step-sons, Oris Serpan (Carolyn) of Colwich, KS, Lyndy Serpan (Karen) of Edmond, OK, and Terry Serpan (Mylene) of Sedgwick, KS; a step-daughter, Tava Serpan of Denver, CO; a brother, Kenneth Talbott (Freda) of Marquette, KS; 7 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, and 5 step-great-grandchildren.
