Michael Decker

Michael E. "Mickey" Decker, 65, died Friday, April 13, 2007, at his home in McPherson. He was a retired operator for Tessenderlo-Kerley and was also a carpenter, painter, and musician.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, April 18, at the First Christian Church. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Survivors include: three sons, Michael Darren Decker of Topeka, KS, Joseph Decker of Lindsborg, KS, and Cody Decker of McPherson, KS; four daughters, Michele Herring of Meriden, KS, Amy Gast of Valley Falls, KS, Jessica Decker of Lindsborg, KS, and Megan Decker of McPherson, KS; a brother, Raymond Steele of Dumas, TX; two sisters, Patty Nealy of Redding, CA and Sue Jameson of Oklahoma City, OK; and 14 grandchildren.
