Marvin Morehead

Marvin K. Morehead, 70, of McPherson and formerly of Washington, Kansas, died Tuesday, December 19, 2006, at Memorial Hospital in McPherson. He was a retired crop insurance adjuster for ITT Hartford Insurance Co. and also worked as a real estate broker and auctioneer.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at the United Methodist Church in Washington, Kansas. A private committal of the cremains will take place in the Belleville Cemetery at a later date. There will be no visitation.

Survivors include: his wife, Elaine of the home; two sons, Jeff Morehead of Ravenna, NE and Barry Morehead of St. Joseph, MO; a daughter, Lisa Sewalson of Olathe, KS; three brothers, Eugene Morehead of Washington, KS, George Morehead of Belleville, KS, and Jay Morehead of Lincoln, NE; a sister, Ruth Elyea of West Des Moines, IA; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
