Louise "Weezy" Becker

Louise “Weezy” Becker, 85, of McPherson, KS, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, surrounded by family at Pine Village, Moundridge.

Weezy was born on August 14, 1940, in Tescott, KS, the daughter of Frederick Paul and Esther Margaret (Kissick) Coopple. On August 14, 1970, Weezy was united in marriage to Franklin “Frankie” Edward Becker in McPherson. He preceded her in death on October 16, 2022.

Weezy was retired from Sterling Drug in McPherson.

She is survived by a sister, Joyce (Michael) Prigmore of Arizona; nieces & nephews, Mark (Kimber) Coopple of Salina, KS, Sherry Hoaglund of Wenatchee, WA, Robert (Karen) Coopple of Jarrell, TX, Dan (Robin) Brayton of McPherson, KS, and Janell (Sylvester) Peachey of Moundridge, KS; and a great-niece, Keeley Davis of Aurora, CO.

Weezy was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a sister, Darlene Sullivan.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Monday, December 8, 2025, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 9, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with Chaplain John Hull officiating. Burial will follow at Franklin Cemetery in Tescott.
