Leland Unruh

Leland R. Unruh, 88, died Sunday, July 2, 2006, at his home in Galva. He was a retired cabinet builder, working for Detroiter Mobile Homes in Hutchinson for 25 years. He and his wife, Helen, also owned and operated Unruh Locker Plant and Unruh Mobile Home Park, both in Galva.

Graveside service will be at 10:30 AM, Thursday, July 6, at the Empire Cemetery near Galva. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Stockham Family Funeral Home. The family will be present from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

Survivors include: a son, Randall Unruh of Galva; a daughter, Sandra Unruh of Galva; a brother, Gano Unruh of Galva; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, two brothers, Cecil and Lural, and a sister, Deliah.
