Kenneth Hilgenfeld

Kenneth R. Hilgenfeld, 75, of Stafford (formerly of McPherson) passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. He was a retired rodeo cowboy and oilfield worker.

Kenneth was born January 8, 1935, in McPherson, KS, the son of Russel R. and Ellen May (Johnson) Hilgenfeld. He was a 1952 graduate of McPherson High School. Mr. Hilgenfeld was also a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 PM Friday, October 29, at Stockham Family Funeral Home in McPherson. Final disposition of the cremains will take place at a later date.

Survivors include: two sons, Brent Hilgenfeld of Abbyville, KS and Dr. Brian Hilgenfeld, and wife, Michelle, of Wichita, KS; a sister, Arnelle McNary of Lenexa, KS; a sister-in-law, Edna Hilgenfeld of McPherson, KS; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Frederick.
