Kathryn J. Jones

Kathryn J. (Shepard) Jones, 74, of McPherson, KS, peacefully passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Salina Regional Health Center.

She was born August 2, 1951, the daughter of Joe and Delilah (England) Shepard. Kathy graduated from Brown Mackie College, Salina.

Kathy was a custodian at McPherson High School and also worked as a dietician at McPherson Hospital.

Survivors include children, Bart (Mary Anne) Jones of Wichita, KS and Katrina (Jody) Kipp of Elizabethtown, KY; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Rubye Slye.

A private family gathering will be held.
