John Stafford

John C. Stafford, 82, of McPherson, died Sunday, October 2, 2005, at The Cedars. He was retired from CertainTeed Corporation, where he worked as a grinder and he also worked as a school crossing guard for USD 418.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, Oct. 5, at McPherson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, at Stockham Family Funeral Home.

Survivors include: his wife, Hazel of the home; a step-daughter, Joan Carpenter of Wichita; a brother, Sam J. Stafford of Springdale, AR; a sister, Betty Bennett of Valley Center; and several nieces & nephews.
