Jill R. Scott

Jill “Queen” Rene Scott, 62, of McPherson, KS, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at McPherson Hospital.  She retired from Johns Manville. 

Jill was born on November 10, 1959, in McPherson, KS, the daughter of Aldon Wesley “Scottie” and Retha Lucy (Anderson) Scott.  She graduated from Lindsborg High School in 1977.

She was a member of Roxbury United Parish in Roxbury, KS.

Survivors include: her daughter, Kelcie Scott (fiancé, Edward Richno) of McPherson, KS; a grandson, Paxton Richno of McPherson, KS; four siblings, Jolene Hilty of McPherson, KS, Janis Ellis of Lindsborg, KS, Jay Scott of Roxbury, KS, and Jazell Bersuch (Dennis) of McPherson, KS; and many extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; a sister, Jennifer Jantz; a brother, Jeffrey Scott; and a niece, Devon Bersuch.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, May 13, 2022, at Stockham Family Funeral Home, McPherson.  The memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, May 14, at Roxbury United Parish, Roxbury. Inurnment will follow at Valley View Cemetery, Roxbury.
