Jeffrey D. Richert

Jeffrey Donald Richert, 46, of McPherson, KS, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2026, at his home.

Jeff was born on February 21, 1980, in Emporia, Kansas, the son of Quentin James and Rhonda Lee (Seibel) Richert.

He worked as a line attendant at Central Plastics.

Quiet by nature, Jeff found comfort and enjoyment in the simple pleasure of reading. His Kindle was rarely far from his side, accompanying him wherever he went. He had a wide-ranging curiosity and enjoyed reading about a variety of subjects.

Survivors include his mother, Rhonda (Timothy) Crum of McPherson, KS; two brothers, Anthony (Alanna) Richert of Elmo, KS and Jeremy Richert of McPherson, KS; and many extended relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father.

A family service will be held.
