Jane E. Hall, 60, of McPherson, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at her home in McPherson. She had worked 20 years as an educator in the public school system.
She was born January 22, 1954, in Junction City, Kansas, the daughter of Gerald F. and Eva M. (Marts) Hall. She attended Chapman U.S.D. 473 schools and graduated from Chapman High School in 1972. She received a B.A. in Education from Kansas State University, a Master’s Degree in Learning Disabilities from Emporia State University, and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Wichita State University.
On October 23, 1999, Jane was united in marriage to Ludwig Reisinger in McPherson, KS.
Jane was a member of Sutphen Mill Christian Church in Chapman, KS and served on the boards of M.C.D.S. and McPherson Hospice.
Survivors include: her husband, Ludwig of the home; twin-brother, Robert E. Hall (Michael) of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Gary L. Hall of Chapman, KS; sister, Sharalyn Jean Stokes (Jack) of Orland Park, IL; nephew, Steven S. Hall (Stacy) of Andover, KS; nieces, Michelle R. Carver (Tom) of Orland Park, IL, Jennifer L. Burt (Garrett) of Elburn, IL, and Edie E. Ross (Seth) of Hutchinson, KS; and two step-sons, Alex Reisinger of Phoenix, AZ and Udo Reisinger (Debbie) of Chapel Hill, NC, and their children, Max and Lena.
The memorial service will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at First Christian Church, McPherson with Rev. Lynn Scott officiating. A private inurnment will take place at the Good Hope Cemetery in Chapman, Kansas, prior to the memorial service.
