Jan van Asselt, 92, of McPherson, KS, peacefully passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025, surrounded by family at The Cedars, McPherson. 

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Friday, September 26, 2025, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. The memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 27, at McPherson Church of the Brethren. A private inurnment at McPherson Cemetery will take place prior to the memorial service.

Memorial donations can be given to McPherson Church of the Brethren or McPherson Opera House in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 North Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460.
