James Raner

James H. "Jim" Raner, 65, of McPherson, died Tuesday, January 17, 2006, at Salina Regional Health Center. He had been an over-the-road truck driver for 45 years and was most recently employed by Larry Kline Trucking at Delphos, KS.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 23, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. There will be no visitation. Scattering of the cremains will take place at a later date.

Survivors include: his wife, Janice of the home; a daughter, Angela Raner of Wichita, KS; five sons, David Nye of Bushton, KS, James Nye of Bushton, KS, Daniel Nye of Union Hall, VA, Steve Nye of Wichita, KS, and Robbie Pruner of Clay Center, KS; three step-daughters, Catrina Thornton of Huntington, IN, Kandy Nye of Bushton, KS, Traci Adams of Wichita, KS; three step-sons, Dennis Adams of Wichita, KS, Rodney Adams of McPherson, KS, and Wade Adams of Wichita, KS; a sister, Phyllis Atkins of Wichita, KS; nineteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
