Howard Janousek

Howard E. Janousek, 84, died Tuesday, June 21, 2005, at Memorial Hospital in McPherson. He had been a McPherson resident from 1957 to 1970 and since April 2005. He was retired from the CertainTeed plant in Social Circle, Georgia where he worked as a maintenance supervisor.

A private family inurnment service will be held on Friday, July 8, at the Oberlin Cemetery in Oberlin, Kansas. There will be no visitation.

Survivors include: a son, Richard L. "Dick" Janousek and wife, Ginger, of McPherson; a brother, Arnold Janousek of Billings, MT; a grandson, Melvin Janousek of Helena, AL; and two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Jackson Janousek.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel, and a daughter, Karolyn Kay Janousek.
