Gilbert Yowell

Gilbert E. "Gib" Yowell, 90, of Lindsborg and formerly of McPherson, died Tuesday, June 7, 2005, at Lindsborg Community Hospital. He was a former employee of the Bay Refinery and NCRA Refinery and also owned and operated a welding shop.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Saturday, June 11, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at Stockham Family Funeral Home with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Survivors include: two daughters, Dr. Mary North of McPherson and Linda Auld of Wichita; three sisters, Laurene Geiman of Kansas City, MO, and Lola Grubel & Doris Eaton, both of McPherson; 4 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille.
