George Zinn

George W. Zinn, 94, of McPherson, died Tuesday, September 14, 2004, at Memorial Hospital in McPherson. He was a retired teacher and coach and had also worked as an engineer for the Rock Island Railroad.

A graveside service and inurnment of the cremains will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 16, at the Lost Springs Cemetery in Lost Springs, Kansas. There will be no visitation.

Survivors include; three grandchildren, George Gordon Gamble, III of Purcell, OK, L. Cathy Jones of Oklahoma City, OK, and Leah Dawn Tolbert of Mead, OK; three great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Leah Z. (Allen) Zinn in 1994.
