George Hodson

George W. Hodson, 89, died Saturday, August 2, 2003, at Pleasant View Home in Inman. He was a retired self-employed painting contractor and had lived in McPherson since 1981, moving from Burdick, Kansas.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, August 6, at the First United Methodist Church. A graveside service will take place at 3:00 PM at the Burdick Methodist Cemetery in Burdick. Visitation is scheduled from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Stockham Family Funeral Home, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Survivors include: his wife, Mildred of the home; two daughters, Mary Louise Pritchard of Emporia, KS and Janis Elaine Jantz of Galva, KS; a brother, Charles L. Hodson of Columbus, OH; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
