George “Butch” E. Blosch, 77, of McPherson, KS, passed away on August 3, 2023, at home.
Butch was born on November 4, 1945, in Independence, IA, the son of Harry R. and Wilma E. (Brown) Blosch. He graduated from Steamboat Rock High School in Iowa.
On September 21, 1965, Butch was united in marriage to Ruth Ann Daleske in Eldora, IA. This union was blessed with two daughters, Lori and Dyan. Butch and Ruth shared nearly 58 years of marriage together.
He was employed at Femco Inc. and Kansas Jack in McPherson. He then retired from Future Foam in 2011 after 13 years of admired employment.
Butch belonged to the First Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed fishing, camping, the Iowa Hawkeyes, and spending much valued time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ruth; two daughters, Lori Byington (Richard) of McPherson, KS and Dyan Chapin (Kyle) of Lyons, KS; three grandchildren, Emily Wills (Phillip) of Kansas City, KS, Eli Byington (Nicole) of McPherson, KS, and Tucker Chapin of Lyons, KS; and many nieces and nephews.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Harry Blosch, and sisters, Nancy Mitchell and Cathy Sease.
