Gaylon L. Plenert

Gaylon Lee Plenert, 69, of McPherson, KS, peacefully passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023, at his home. 

Gaylon was born on September 29, 1954, in Goessel, KS, the son of Charles Lee and Jenny Lee (Unruh) Plenert.  He attended school in Hillsboro, KS.

He was a member of Wheatland Baptist Church, McPherson and was an artist for The Clayworks at Disability Supports.

Survivors include: his mother, Jenny Plenert of McPherson, KS; a brother, Greg (Robin) Plenert of Hillsboro, KS; nephew, Dusten (Danielle) Plenert of Hillsboro, KS; niece, Callie Plenert of Hillsboro, KS; numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles; and dear friend, Nancy (Gene) Shockley of Wichita, KS.

Gaylon will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Wheatland Baptist Church, McPherson, with Pastor Brian Ernsberger officiating.  Burial will follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery, Hillsboro.
