Inman, KS
Gary Franklin Tippett, 67, of Inman, Kansas and formerly of Pecos, Texas, peacefully passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023, surrounded by family at Hospice House, Hutchinson.
He was born October 28, 1955, in Barstow, CA, the son of Myron Lee and Joada Marie (Summerville) Tippett. Gary spent several years driving a truck in the Texas oil fields.
Survivors include: four siblings, Cheryl (Mike) Minter of Lincoln, CA, Myron (Sherry) Tippett of Windom, KS, Lori (Jim) Rowe of Marysville, CA, and Cindy (Kelly) Brenton of Atwater, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David Tippett.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023, at Zion Mennonite Church Cemetery, rural Inman. Minister Dallas Nikkel will officiate the service.
Memorial donations may be given to Smoky Hills Church of God in Christ, Mennonite in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 N. Chestnut, St., McPherson, KS 67460.
