Frances Jones

Frances G. (McPherson) Jones, age 87, died peacefully at her home in McPherson, KS on July 9, 2025. She was born on July 29, 1937, in rural Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma to Ona & Grace (Cooper) McPherson. She was a 1955 graduate of Barnsdall High School, Barnsdall, Oklahoma. She was a resident of McPherson, KS since 2002 and lived an incredibly full and devoted life to her family.

Her marriage to Victor Enns on July 7, 1956, in Tecumseh, Oklahoma, resulted in four children who survive her: Vikki (Roger) Trimmell of McPherson, KS, K. Scott Enns of Cincinnati, OH, Betsy (Carl) Riblett of Wamego, KS, and Timothy (Angela) Enns of Wichita, KS; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Mona Ruiz of Olathe, KS; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her siblings, Barbara French, Mary Ledsman, Ona Lewis McPherson, Jr.; husbands, Victor D. Enns and Richard Jones; and daughter-in-law, Della Hartman Enns.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, July 18, 2025, at the McPherson Cemetery with Rev. Jon Black officiating.
