Floyd Spurlock

Floyd N. Spurlock, Jr., known to McPherson area radio listeners as Neal Taylor, 50, died Friday, June 16, 2006. He was an on-air personality & disc jockey for KNGL-KBBE Radio in McPherson and formerly worked as a clerk at the McPherson Taylor-Mart. He had been a resident of McPherson since 1996, moving from Phoenix, Arizona.

The memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 20, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. Burial of cremains will take place at a later date. There will be no visitation.

Survivors include: his wife, Cindy of the home; daughter, Heather Heim of Canton, KS; mother, Patricia Guernsey of Glendale, AZ; sisters, Priscilla Johnson of Phoenix, AZ and Sara Joyner of Phoenix, AZ; and a granddaughter, Carley Heim of Canton, KS.

He was preceded in death by a son, Matthew, and a daughter, Susan.
