Elsie Myers

Elsie M. Myers, 86, of Hillsboro and formerly of Council Grove, died Monday, April 17, 2006, at the Hillsboro Community Medical Center-Long Term Care Unit. She was a homemaker.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Friday, April 21, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at Stockham Family Funeral Home with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Survivors include: a son, Paul Richardson of Ponca City, OK; two daughters, Jane Walker of Hillsboro, KS and Jan Richardson of Solomon, KS; a sister, Doris Yates of England; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Gibson, five brothers, two sisters, and a great-grandchild.
