Edwin Morris

Edwin A. "Ed" Morris, 85 of Hoisington and formerly of McPherson, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 8, 2010. He was a retired truck driver for Santa Fe Trail Transportation and Churchill Truck Lines.

Service will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 12, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by members of VFW Post #2715 and American Legion Post #24. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday at Stockham Family Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

Survivors include: three sons, Larry Morris (Patty) of Hutchinson, KS, Gary Morris (Kay) of Henrietta, TX, and Kelly Morris (Debbie) of Hoisington, KS; three brothers, Arthur "Bud" Morris of Calimesa, CA, Robert Morris of Bedford, TX, and James Morris of New Hampshire; three sisters, Charlotte Chavez of Auburn, CA, Carole Boyer of Loomis, CA, and Gwen Ayers of Oktaha, OK; 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline, a daughter, Debbie Boesker, and two sisters.
