Delton Nikkel

Delton E. Nikkel, 73, of Inman, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at Mercy Hospital in Moundridge. He was a retired farmer and stockman.

He was born December 6, 1937, to Anton and Justine (Ensz) Nikkel. On February 19, 1961, he married Deloris F. Unruh at Hesston, KS.

Survivors include: his wife, Deloris of the home; three sons, Donovan Nikkel (Donna) of Dalhart, TX and Doyle Nikkel (Cynthia) of Mountain Grove, MO, and Dallas Nikkel (Sirena) of Marquette, KS; two daughters, Darla Wadel (Marlin) of Inman, KS and Debbie Jost (Jonathan) of Bradley, AR; a brother, Ray Nikkel (Jane) of Pincher Creek, Alberta, Canada; a sister, Norma Reimer (Ken) of Linden, Alberta, Canada; and 20 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Nikkel and a sister, Lois Wohlgemuth.

The Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Friday, May 13, 2011, at Zion Church of God in Christ, Mennonite (Inman). Burial will be in the Zion Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at Zion Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. A time for sharing of memories will begin at 8:00 PM.
