Charles Vachal

Charles Edward Vachal, 95, of Lindsborg and formerly of McPherson, died Friday, February 17, 2006, at Lindsborg Community Hospital. He was a teacher, coach, and school administrator in several Kansas schools, and after retirement, he farmed for more than twenty years with his son.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 21, at the Benton Cemetery in Benton, KS. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at Stockham Family Funeral Home, with the family present from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

Survivors include: a son, Charles Vachal of Lindsborg; a daughter, Annamarie Brancaccio of Arlington, TX; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
