Charles Serviss

Charles P. Serviss, 87, of McPherson, died Tuesday, April 20, 2004. He was a retired operator in the recovery & finishing unit at N.C.R.A. in McPherson.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 24, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. Burial with Military Honors will be at Canton Township Cemetery, Canton. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at Stockham Family Funeral Home. The family will be present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Survivors include: his wife, Clela of the home; a son, Dallas Eaves of Moundridge, KS; three daughters, Patsy Schmidt of Goessel, KS, Kay Thompson of Colorado Springs, CO, and Shirlene DeSoto of Hayward, CA; two brothers, Arnold Serviss of McPherson and Dale Serviss of Lyons, KS; two sisters, Vera Janzen of McPherson and Elva Meljo of Hoisington, KS; 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
