Charlene Martin

Charlene R. (King) Martin, 71, of McPherson, died Wednesday, May 19, 2004, at Salina Regional Health Center. She was a former file clerk at Farmers Alliance Insurance, a licensed cosmetologist, and taught ceramics classes for several years.

The memorial service will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 22, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. Inurnment of the cremains will take place in McPherson Cemetery at a later date. Private family visitation will be held on Friday.

Survivors include: husband, Robert W. "Bob" Martin of the home; a son, Michael Martin and wife, Margaret, of Roe, AR; a brother, Kenneth King of McPherson; a sister, Peggy Anderson of McPherson, a half-brother, Hollis King of Callaway, NE; a half sister, Ellen Palmatier of South Milwaukee, WI; three grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers; Marvin, Norwood, and Gladwin "Jack" King.
