Carolyn "Sue" Foley

Carolyn “Sue” Foley, 79, of McPherson, KS and formerly of Wichita and Canton, KS, peacefully passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Loving Care of McPherson.

Sue was born on June 15, 1947, in Hiawatha, KS, the daughter of Donald Marvin and Betty Evelyn (Potter) Sechler. She attended Canton High School. Sue was united in marriage to Jim Schroeder in 1963 and later married Daniel Foley in 1977.

She and her husband were co-owners of the Taco Tico Corporation.

She is survived by siblings, Michael Sechler of Hillsboro, KS, Steve Sechler (Melissa) of McPherson, KS, and Jo Ellen Wilson (Byron Westerman) of Hutchinson, KS; a son, Brent Schroeder (Laurie) of Wichita, KS; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many extended relatives and friends.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Todd Schroeder.
