Carol Menard

Carol L. Menard, 65, of McPherson, died Wednesday, October 4, 2006, at her home in McPherson. She was retired from the McPherson Co-Op Credit Union where she had worked as a loan officer. She also had worked at McPherson Bank & Trust in the installment loan department.

She was born October 5, 1940, in rural Cloud County, KS, the daughter of Edward and Eva (Provost) LeBlanc. She had been a McPherson resident since 1961, moving from Clay Center, KS.

She was united in marriage to Gail D. Menard in Clyde, KS.

Carol was a member of New Hope Evangelical Church and has served as a Deacon of the Women's Ministries. She was also a former member of the Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors include: her husband, Gail of the home; a son, Galen Menard and wife, Rhonda, of McPherson; three daughters, Lori Fenimore and husband, Kevin, of McPherson, Lisa Estes and husband, Park, of Van Buren, AR; and Lana Miller and husband, Kyle, of Overland Park, KS; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Duane LeBlanc.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Monday at the Free Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Keil officiating. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery. Visitation (with family present) will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Sunday at Stockham Family Funeral Home.
