Bonnie Josephine Boyle, 87, of McPherson, KS and formerly of Lindsborg, KS, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 12, 2021, at The Cedars, McPherson. She was a homemaker and school teacher. She also worked in the school libraries in Dodge City, KS.

She was born on February 23, 1934, in Glenville, Minnesota, the daughter of Willard and Ruth Young. She graduated from Wessington Springs College (South Dakota) and from Greenville College (Illinois). On July 21, 1956, Bonnie was united in marriage to John E. Boyle in Glenville.

She was a member of the McPherson Free Methodist Church and attended Trinity United Methodist Church, Lindsborg.

Survivors include: her loving husband of 64 years, Rev. John Boyle; two sons, Jay Boyle (Marta) and Jack Boyle (Jean); daughter-in-law, Susan Boyle; two grandchildren, Dustin Boyle and Johnathan Boyle; three great-grandchildren, Clara Boyle, Walker Boyle, and Kelty Boyle; a brother, Russell Young; a sister, Edith Grosland; and many extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Joseph Edward Boyle, and a sister, Ruth Royer.

The memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 18, 2021, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Lindsborg, with Rev. Dallas Peterson officiating. The final resting place will be in Glenville, MN at a later date.
