Betty (Vanderhoofven) Baillod

Betty F. (Vanderhoofven) Baillod, 67, of Emporia, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2011, at the Holiday Resort in Emporia.

Betty was born on February 15, 1944, in Alva, Oklahoma, the daughter of Lloyd B. and Sarah Frances (Muck) Vanderhoofven. She attended high school at Central College Academy in McPherson, Kansas. Betty was united in marriage to Edward Baillod on August 30, 1980.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM, Friday, June 17, 2011, at the Holiday Resort, 2700 W. 30th St., Emporia, Kansas.

Survivors include: her husband, Ed Baillod of the home; sister, Marilyn Fields (Merlin) of McPherson, KS; brother, John W. “Bill” Vanderhoofven (Lori) of Brazoria, TX; and several nieces & nephews.
