Betty Kahrs

Betty J. Kahrs, 75, of McPherson, died Thursday, March 4, 2004, at The Cedars Health Care Center. She was a former school teacher, co-owner/operator of a clothing store, and was the jewelry dept. associate at the McPherson K-Mart.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 8, at the First United Methodist Church. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 9, at the Greenwood Cemetery in Franklin, Nebraska. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday at Stockham Family Funeral Home. The family will be present from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.

Survivors include: husband, Robert "Bob" Kahrs of the home; two sons, Kenny Kahrs of Mount Hope, KS and Keith Kahrs of Hutchinson, KS; a sister, Delores Cahill of Franklin, NE; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
