Barbara Knackstedt

Barbara Ann Knackstedt, 62, of Phillipsburg and formerly of McPherson, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2010, at Via Christi-St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita. She was a homemaker and former school teacher.

Mrs. Knackstedt was a 1966 graduate of McPherson High School and received a Bachelor's Degree from Kansas State Teacher's College at Emporia in 1970.

The memorial service will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 20, at the First Baptist Church in McPherson. Burial in McPherson Cemetery will precede the memorial service at 10:30 AM. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Stockham Family Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Survivors include: her husband, Cameron D. Knackstedt, D.O. of the home; two sons, Jason Knackstedt of Arlington Heights, IL and Nathan Knackstedt, D.O. (Leslee) of Hoisington, KS; a brother, George Becker (Donna) of McPherson, KS; a half-sister, Lorraine Lieb (Sid) of Wilmington, DE; and three grandchildren, Cameron Jack, Josey Elaine, and Emmalee Dawn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Deloris Becker, and a sister, Carol.
