Austin Daniel Beagel, 32, of McPherson, KS, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at his home.
He was born September 18, 1993, in Marysville, Kansas, the son of Kimberly A. Mapes and Randall L. Beagel. Austin attended McPherson and Canton-Galva schools.
Austin was employed as a rotator/tow truck operator for Auto House Towing & Recovery in Galva. In the words of his employer, Chris Unruh, Austin was a team player and was always willing to help out even if it wasn’t in his regular job description. He won several awards because of his outstanding service. Austin even taught several of the other operators a lot of what he had learned through the years.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, weightlifting, and watching movies, but nothing brought him more joy than his daughter, Braelynn. She was the light of his life and the center of his world. Austin was an incredible father and a devoted family man who cherished every moment spent with those he loved. Family was everything to him, and his love for them was evident in all that he did.
Survivors include: his mother, Kimberly Carlson; daughter, Braelynn Beagel; brother, Nathan Beagel; grandmother, Betty Stohs (Donald); step-daughter, Harlee Clement; uncle & aunts, Chris (Lora), Vida, Darline, Kay, and Gwen; and many extended relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Randall Beagel; daughter, Jailei; mother of Jailei, Taren (Willoughby) Clement; and aunts & uncles, Penny Erskin, Donnie Beagel, Joey John, and David Mapes.
A visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 16, at Freedom Chapel, 1064 14th Ave., McPherson, with Pastor David Case officiating. Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery.
