Anastacia “Anna” Galarza-Santillano, 74, of McPherson, KS, and formerly of Mexico, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at McPherson Health & Rehab. She retired from Nations Pizza & Food.
Anna was born on June 5, 1947, in Durango, Mexico, the daughter of Felipe´ Galarza and Maria E. Santillano.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, McPherson.
Survivors include: three children, Oscar Galindo (Eva Galindo) of Temecula, CA, Anna Galindo (John Pyle) of El Dorado, KS, and Carmen Schowengerdt-Moore (Derek Moore) of McPherson, KS; six grandchildren, Oscar Galindo, Jr., Alex Galindo, Naomi Galindo, Jason Schowengerdt, Jr., Rosario Schowengerdt, and Derek Moore, Jr.; and many extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, November 8, 2021, with Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, November 9, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Ben Shockey officiating. Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery.
