Timothy Driscoll

Timothy James Driscoll, 62, of McPherson, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2012, at his home in McPherson. He lived in McPherson since 1971, formerly of Russell, KS. He was a former insurance agent for Farm Bureau, a machinist for FEMCO, and worked in quality control for Johns Manville.

Tim was born on April 10, 1950, in Russell, Kansas, the son of Richard Michael and Colette Mary (Kelly) Driscoll. He graduated from Russell High School in 1968 and from McPherson College in 1973. On October 20, 1973, he was united in marriage to Diane C. Irwin in Russell, KS.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, founder and lifetime trustee of the Kansas Muzzle Loader Assn., and a former Boy Scout leader.

Survivors include: wife, Diane of the home; children, Melissa Driscoll of McPherson, KS, Pat Driscoll and wife, Jenny, of Newton, KS, and Tiffany Driscoll of Newton, KS; grandsons, Dayton Stucky and Parker Schultz of Newton, Kansas; brothers, Jerry Driscoll and wife, Patty, of Russell, KS and Kelly Driscoll of Lawrence, KS.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 31, 2012, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Dwight Birket as Celebrant. Burial will be in the McPherson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Family will be present from 5:00 to the conclusion of the Rosary.
