Jeanne Ann Moss

Jeanne “Ann” Moss, 58, of Windom, KS, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015, at Sandstone Heights Nursing Home in Little River, KS. She was a manufacturing engineer and had worked for 20 years at CertainTeed Corporation in McPherson and Williamsport, MD. She also worked for Blount Industries in Kansas City, MO.

She was born July 14, 1956, in McPherson, KS, the daughter of Elmer Junior and Mary Ellen (Siddens) Lindstrom. She graduated from Little River High School in 1974 and continued her education at Hutchinson Community College. While at HCC, she was a member of the first women’s basketball team. After graduating from HCC, she went on to Washburn University, McPherson College, and Phoenix University, where she earned a Master’s Degree in manufacturing engineering.

She married Richard D. “Rick” Moss on August 5, 1978 at the Andover Lutheran Church near Windom.

Survivors include: husband, Rick of the home; a daughter, Alisha Rice of Liberty, MO; a grandson, Jordan Rice of Liberty, MO; mother, Mary Lindstrom of McPherson; brothers, Larry Lindstrom of Broomfield, CO and Jon Lindstrom (Coleen) of McPherson; sisters, Janey Bailey (Allen) of Meade, KS and Lori Durkes (Wade) of Dover, KS; and mother-in-law, Elizabeth Moss of Waco, TX.

She was preceded in death by her father, a brother, Jim Lindstrom and father-in-law, Neal Moss.

A memorial service will be held at 4:30 PM on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Andover Lutheran Church, Windom. Private inurnment will take place at the Windom Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
