Geraldine M. Tinsley

Geraldine Marie Tinsley, 92, of Canton, KS, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at Pine Village in Moundridge, KS. She was a homemaker.

Geraldine was born on January 25, 1927, in Hillsboro, KS, the daughter of Albert and Helena (Unger) Schroeder. She graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1945. Geraldine was united in marriage to Stanley K. Tinsley on May 18, 1952, in Hillsboro. He preceded her in death on January 25, 2014.

Survivors include: two daughters, Marian Tinsley of Hesston, KS and Marlys Duchinsky and husband, Greg, of Wichita, KS; and brother, Laverne Schroeder and wife, Linda, of Atoka, TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Kathryn Heinrichs.

A private graveside service will be held at Canton Township Cemetery, Canton, KS.
