Beverly “Jolene” Clark, 86, a lifetime McPherson County resident, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, surrounded by family at her home in McPherson. She owned and operated Daylight Donut Shop in McPherson, was the former art director at the McPherson Senior Center, and owned and operated Bev’s Bee Hive, a ceramics studio.

Jolene was born on September 27, 1934, in Canton, KS, the daughter of William Aubrey and Neva Pearl (Johnson) Keagle. She graduated from Canton High School in 1952. On June 14, 1953, Jolene was united in marriage to Webb Clark in Canton, KS. This union was blessed with three sons. Webb preceded Jolene in death on September 8, 2000.

She attended the First Christian Church.

Survivors include: three sons, John Dennis Clark (Sylvia), Richard Kim Clark, and Michael Jay Clark, all of McPherson, KS; a brother, Jay Keagle (Marilee) of McPherson, KS; four grandchildren, Rick Clark, David Clark, Paul Herrera, and Tina Schwartz; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four siblings, William Keagle, Dean Keagle, Warren Keagle, and Bonnie Westbrook.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 10, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with Pastor Lynn Scott officiating. Burial will follow at the Canton Township Cemetery.
